We are starting the year 2024, embracing a new 12-month cycle! After a particularly difficult year in 2023, marked in particular by environmental challenges, 2024 looks set to be optimistic.
Hope lies in unwavering global mobilization, in unity of action to effectively counter the consequences of climate change, loss of biodiversity and land degradation.
On this occasion, I am delighted to wish you a year 2024 full of promise and success. May everyone experience new beginnings and nourish new hopes. May we make 2024 the year of real action to restore and preserve our ecosystems in distress.
